Please read this policy for information about your privacy in relation to your use of FoodSelect

Introduction

Matthew Larkins built the FoodSelect app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by Matthew Larkins at no cost and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use my Service. My policy is that I do not collect Personal Information. However, I use third-party services that may have access to your IP address in order to perform their services. Continue reading for more information and links to their privacy policies.

Service Providers

I use a third-party Service called Cloud Firestore to store data about ingredients. When you use your camera to scan ingredients labels or barcodes, or search for an ingredient, and when you open the app for the first time, your device communicates with remote servers to pull information about ingredients. Their policy states "Cloud Functions uses IP addresses to execute event-handling functions and HTTP functions based on end-user actions. Cloud functions only saves IP addresses temporarily, to provide the service." The service's privacy policy can be accessed in full at Privacy and Security in Firebase
